[ she ignores that text because either way, they're heroes and it's begging. but hey, maybe there's a favor she could offer in return. it's something to sleep on. all of it in favor of meeting him at the lifts in a timely manner because she wants to get back to gardens, and Lydia. and offense to Stiles (she's sure he'll be the best blanket in the mean time) but it doesn't sit right distancing herself when she can help.

If there's one person I trust with Lydia that cares about her safety and well-being as much as I do, it's Stiles. [ half in love with Lydia Martin is what he's been since the second she met him. she doesn't expect that to change but if it does (or has) he still has the most wisdom. the best judgment. and he cares about her. concern doesn't stop after infatuation leaves. ] It's the rest of the crew they're down there with that I'm less positive about. Some of them react under pressure like we do and the others are totally unpredictable.

[ For his part, Isaac couldn't care any less than he already does for the rest of the ship; call it a bit cold, but getting burned by experience makes one picky about the people one cares about. It's just easier this way, right?
